Registration FALL 2025 - High School Introduction to Rowing

​High School Introduction to Rowing

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program is designed for grade nine students with or without experience or others that have no experience. A great way to meet new friends ant your new high school and join a team in preparation for the spring high school competitive season. Learning while having fun!

​The focus will be on getting people in eights. It’s about learning the basics of rowing technique, boat handling and care, and on the final day rehearsing a regatta day with a simulated regatta. 


Starts the week of September 15
Finishes with “Regatta Day” on October 18 (October 19 is the regatta raindate)
PARTICIPANTS
This program is designed for grade 9 highschool students with or without rowing experience. ​
SESSIONS
The High School Introduction to Rowing Program is organized into 3 rowing sessions.
  • Rowing 2 weekday sessions after school, and
  • ​Rowing 1 weekend session after 10:00 AM​ ​​

Fall High School Introduction to Rowing 2025:

Time Frame: Sept 15 – Oct 18 (Rain date October 19)

Cost $165   |  
Cost includes Rowing Canada membership and RowOntario membership fees.
