The 2020 Youth Rowing School is CANCELLED​

(Capacity 50/Session)
Advanced
(Capacity 25/Session)
Session 1: Cancelled $420 cash or cheque $460 cash or cheque
Session 2: Cancelled $300 cash or cheque $350 cash or cheque
Session 3: Cancelled $300 cash or cheque $350 cash or cheque
*All sessions, for both Learn to Row (Beginner) and Advanced programs are cancelled for the 2020 summer season.
We look forward to the return of this program in the summer of 2021!

About the Program

Youth Rowing School - Learn to Row:

This beginner program is designed to teach boys and girls ages 10 – 14 the basics of rowing in an 8 person shell with coxswain. Included will be conditioning techniques along with on water instruction. When the weather is inclement fitness oriented on-land activities will be provided. ​A swimming safety test is required.

Youth Rowing School - Advanced:

This program, with a low student to instructor ratio, is designed for boys and girls ages 12 - 17 who have participated in at least two (2) years of the Learn to Row program or similar or by recommendation of a rowing coach. The Advanced Program focuses on sculling and small boat instruction, as well as, training and conditioning for rowing and sculling. The program is designed for those who want to further build their rowing skills and fitness level. Secondary school athletes who want to develop sculling and small boat skills are also invited to attend. A swimming safety test is required.
