HENLEY GOLD 2008
Congratulations to all
of you for the Clubs most successful Henley in recent times.
The Club won an unprecedented 18 gold metals. We placed 43
boats in the finals and finished second in the Efficiency
Standings.
This
success must be shared by all, as each coach and athlete did
their part whether it got you to the podium or not. This
summer the Rowing Club was truly a team, working together to
ensure each crew had the opportunity to do their best. The
Rowing Clubs motto is “Forge Ahead” and we will do that by
using this year’s success to build upon for Henley 2009.
