Youth Rowing Camp

Youth Rowing Camp

Week-long, full-day summer camps for novice and intermediate rowers aged 10–15. Get on the water, learn the sport, and build confidence with our coaching staff.

Program Overview

A week of rowing, friends, and fun on the Henley Course

Each day combines on-water rowing sessions in eights and quads with land games, dock activities, and time to make new friends. Camps run weekly through July and August on Henley Island. No prior experience required - all our coaches are CPR / First Aid certified, and the on-water coach-to-camper ratio is 1:5.

A swim test will be conducted on the first day of camp - all campers must pass the swim test to row on the water. Details regarding the swim test will be sent once you register for the camp.

1:5 coach ratio on the water

Small groups, lots of attention. Every coach is CPR/First Aid certified.

First-timers welcome

No experience required. Land games, dock activities, and on-water rowing in eights and quads.

Get Started

Two steps to your camp week

Everything you need to sign up for Youth Rowing Camp. Takes about 5 minutes.

First time rowing with SCRC?

New campers need a Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) account before their first session. It takes 5 minutes, and the one-time $51.05 RCA fee runs April 1 through March 31 the following year (not 12 months from your registration date), so a new fee applies each March 31. Already a current SCRC member? Skip straight to step 1.
