SCRC Receives $100,000 Capital Grant from OTF

The St. Catharines Rowing Club received a capital grant of $110,000 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation in the spring of 2016 - The grant has allowed us to purchase four new double sculls and two new quadruple sculls as well as oars for the new boats- the boats were delivered on to the Club from Hudson Boatworks on December 21, 2016. They are currently in the boathouse waiting for the opening of the 2017 season - around April 1. These beautiful new boats will give the Club's competitive athletes access to outstanding new equipment and will enhance their opportunity to achieve the very best results.  THANK YOU TRILLIUM!! The boats will be officially christened on Sunday June 25, 2017.
